ERPeople Solutions Ltd are recruiting for a JavaScript / Full stack Lead Engineer to work with a fortune 500 company and Industry Leader in their field who are investing heavily in revamping their technology.
Our client is recruiting a team of talented front-end and back-end engineers to support the development of multiple products that will create a great experience for their users. & suppliers.
In this role, you will have long-term ownership of the product and be responsible for design, build, test, deployment, and operation using the latest technical stack.
Key responsibilities:As a full stack engineer you will be involved in the implementation of all parts of the product. You’ll also work closely with the UX team and visual designer’s to develop the front end or with other engineers on the backend. Together you will build a product that users love:
What we are looking for:- Several years of experience in mixed frontend/backend development. Our client recognise that the split of experience may not be equal, but we are looking for someone with the willingness to switch from front to back end as per the demands of the product. The goal to create a multi-skilled team
- Experience of using Vue. Experience with other frameworks such as Angular or React is useful but you will be using Vue in our product
- Good working knowledge of front-end development languages, tools and methodologies – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and associated technologies and toolsets (e.g. jQuery, Sass)
- Experience of building micro-services. Our client Java 8+ and Spring Boot, running them in Docker containers deployed on Kubernetes. Bonus points for reactive programming
- Experience of behaviour-driven development (BDD) using frameworks such as Cucumber
- Able to write front-end code that is cross-browser and cross-device friendly, through responsive or adaptive techniques
- Creation and ownership of technical designs
- Experience of mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to help them grow
- Knowledge of agile development methods and how to structure teams within them
- Experience in leading agile ceremonies
- User-focused, whether responding to support queries or developing new features and functionality
- Experience using continuous integration/continuous delivery. Bonus points for knowing Azure DevOps
- Development and deployments on cloud infrastructure
- Experience of test-driven development (TDD)
